How It Went
Folsom Mayor Sarah Aquino inaugurated Grand Boishakhi Mela 2025 and stayed until 4 PM, thoroughly enjoying the festivities. She noted the record-breaking turnout of over 1,000 guests — a powerful testament to the community's vibrant unity and the true spirit of Pahela Boishakh 1432.
This year's theme celebrated joy alongside deeper values of spiritual awakening, courage, love, and unity — with the celebration also embracing patriotism, women's empowerment, resistance against injustice, and tributes to our heroes. Stunning hall decorations, a dazzling cultural extravaganza, vibrant stalls with live BBQ, exquisite clothing and jewelry, Bengali books, and lively photobooths came together to showcase the creativity and teamwork at the heart of Anandamela, Inc.
